Having grown up in a musical family and deeply loving music,
Tiffany J. began writing songs at age 8. Appreciating all types of musical stylings, you can find her writing and/or singing pop, folk, r&b, rock, gospel, country, jazz, etc. Throughout the course of her musical career, Tiffany J. has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. Performing at a variety of venues, making dozens of appearances as a singer and spoken word artist, working on various business ventures, all the while writing music, Tiffany J. has earned the admiration and affection of countless fans, serving as both inspiration and role model. She has also served as a worship leader, and now provides worship videos for a remote congregation.
SHIFT
After taking a break from music, Tiffany J. has returned to the music scene fiercer and more committed than ever. This album reflects a new turn in her career as a progressive Singer Songwriter. With 'Shift', Tiffany J. has created some of her most compelling work to date. 'Shift', her first (finally!) EP, was inspired by her work as a self-love coach and her own journey to self love that birthed a shift in mindset.
EXTERNAL
Hearkening back to certain periods in her life, Tiffany J. has put together an EP called External of older projects that delve into romantic love. Whereas Shift, was about self love and acceptance, External is about external love, hence the name. In addition to love outside of one's self, External incorporates the rawness of external and atmospheric sounds. Also in part to many of the songs being resurrected and reinvigorated from old recordings of live performances.
Fully created by the singer/songwriter, Tiffany J. has showcased her talent in arranging virtual instruments, as well as playing the guitar and piano herself on Peace Out, Luminous, and Sky Blue. Not to mention her beatboxing skills! A very creative project, External is stripped down and simple, in comparison to the futuristic sounds of Shift. Tiffany J. is definitely displaying her wide range!
